This $1.5 million gift to FSU’s School of Visual Arts and Dance created and endowed The Maggie Allesee National Center for Choreography. The gift is expected to draw state matching funds that will bring the total endowment to more than $2.7 million.

“My gift represents a continuing connection to FSU and to the hope that students will continue to take advantage of the great opportunities available, said Mrs. Allesee. I give back to FSU because I want to make a positive impact on young peoples lives. What better way than through education?”
