In preparation for her 10th anniversary retrospective, Rhoads is investigating the phenomenon surrounding sampling and pirating of art.  “I am interested in unpacking the pervasive and popular idea that direct appropriation is a vehicle to make something transformative and not something that’s off limits anymore.”
